Our Specialized Services

Occupational Therapy

Children’s skills are carefully assessed, and individualized treatment plans are developed to meet each child where they are while gently challenging them to grow through a developmentally informed, bottom-up approach. Play-based therapy using a variety of sensory-motor equipment is at the heart of every session, helping children stay engaged, regulated, and motivated to explore new skills. Family involvement is encouraged so that progress carries over into home, school, and everyday routines.

Empowering children through expert care tailored to their unique developmental journey and milestones.

Speech Therapy

Speech therapy supports your child’s ability to understand and use language to connect, communicate, and participate in everyday life. We focus on speech sound production, receptive and expressive language, social communication, and play skills, using engaging, play-based activities that help children feel safe, confident, and successful as they learn. Therapy is individualized to each child’s needs, and we partner closely with families to support carryover at home, school, and in the community.

Feeding Therapy

Feeding therapy helps children who struggle with picky eating, limited food variety, or difficulty chewing and swallowing. Assessment looks at oral motor skills, including the lips, tongue, and jaw—as well as sensory processing and how it impacts a child’s experience with different food textures, tastes, and smells.

Children are encouraged to explore food through play in a supportive, non-threatening way. Food choices are carefully selected to target both sensory and oral motor development while gently supporting the developmental steps to successful mealtimes. We work closely with caregivers to establish positive mealtime routines and strategies that support progress at home and reduce stress for the whole family.

Myofunctional Therapy

Myofunctional therapy focuses on how the muscles of the face, mouth, and tongue work together to support breathing, eating, and speech. We use gentle, child-friendly exercises and play-based activities to promote healthy oral habits, improved breathing patterns, and clearer speech.

Treatment plans are individualized to each child, and we collaborate closely with families and other providers to support carryover and long-term success.

Occupational Therapist,

Feeding Specialist

Stephanie is a licensed and registered Occupational Therapist who received her master’s degree from Boston University in 2012.  She began her clinical experience working with adults with acquired brain injuries and spinal cord injuries at an inpatient rehabilitation center. While Stephanie immensely enjoyed her work with this population, she decided to transition her career back to her original passion of working with children at an outpatient pediatric clinic in early 2018. Stephanie took a brief absence from her career to raise her own two children; however, her love for Occupational Therapy persisted. She continued to take courses to advance her clinical knowledge and skills in the areas of pediatric feeding therapy, sensory integration therapy, childhood and infant development, and interoception techniques.  In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending her time with her husband and daughters, traveling, and hiking with her very energetic dog!
